FoodPharmacy^® Software v6.0 and earlier versions use your local computer's file system to store important data. Among this data are your patient list, your patient visit details, and any edits made to treatment protocols. This article describes how to manually backup or transfer your DietTherapy folder and how to restore it.

It is important to routinely backup your DietTherapy folder to ensure you do not experience any data loss.

Windows XP
Copying Your DietTherapy Folder Open Windows Explorer Navigate to c:\ Documents and Settings \ All Users \ Application Data \ FoodPharmacy At this location, you should see your DietTherapy folder Select your DietTherapy folder by right-clicking on it and selecting the "Copy" command from the menu Copy this folder to a safe place, such as a different disk drive, a floppy disk, or a CD/DVD Restoring Your DietTherapy Folder Open Windows Explorer Locate the safe place your previously copied your DietTherapy folder to Select your DietTherapy folder by right-clicking on it and selecting the "Copy" command from the menu Navigate to c:\ Documents and Settings \ All Users \ Application Data \ FoodPharmacy on your existing or new computer At this location, you should see an existing DietTherapy folder Copy the contents of your saved DietTherapy folder over top of the new DietTherapy folder on your existing or new computer	DietTherapy Folder Structure
